Ryan Helgerson, DMD, is the owner of Bookcliff Family Dental and finds joy in providing the highest level of comprehensive care to his patients in Grand Junction and the surrounding areas.

Heidi West, DMD has a passion for the blend of art and science in dentistry, and is dedicated to restoring smiles while ensuring her patients feel comfortable and fully informed about their treatment options.

Abby
Dental Hygienist
Growing up, Abby would come out to Western Colorado with her family for vacation every year and fell in love with the area. She received her degree in dental hygiene from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and moved here shortly after graduation. In addition to being a dental hygienist, Abby is a certified myofunctional therapist. When she's not at work, she’s probably a few miles into a hike somewhere with her friends, or in the kitchen experimenting with a new recipe.
Melanie
Dental Hygienist
Melanie is a Colorado native who has called Fruita her home for the last 20 years. She has over 25 years of dental experience, as she was a dental assistant before going to hygiene school. Melanie loves educating her patients and making sure that they are comfortable throughout their care. She is married with two kids and loves watching her kids play sports. She enjoys camping, gardening, hiking and just about anything outdoors with her family.
Jim
Dental Hygienist
Jim has lived in Colorado since 1986. He and his family relocated back in 2020 from Evergreen, CO. He has been practicing dental hygiene for over 21 years and believes in making long-lasting dental relationships with all patients. While offering a soft touch, and strong values towards your oral health. His goal is to make your dental experience a positive one. Outside the office, you'll find him with his lovely wife Tracy and their 3 doodle fur babies. Free time is spent pedaling bikes, skiing, and traveling to find the perfect beach.
Alisha
Dental Hygienist
Alisha is not only dedicated to creating healthy smiles- she's also a homeschool mom, a nature-loving biology enthusiast, and passionate about whole-body wellness. Whether she's in the operatory or exploring the outdoors with her kids, she brings curiosity, compassion, and a love for learning into everything she does. She brings the same thoughtful, well-rounded perspective to her work with patients!
Regina
Treatment Coordinator
Regina has been a dental assistant for over 20 years and loves helping patients achieve the smile of their dreams. She was born in Utah but considers Grand Junction her home. She has two successful adult sons and enjoys spending time with their families. In her free time she loves to spend time with her two granddaughters, work out, read, and do everything outdoors.
Yvette
Dental Assistant
Yvette has been a dental assistant for over 10 years and in the customer service industry for over 20 years. She is dedicated to making every patient's dental visit fun, comfortable, and aimed at the patient's individual dental goals. Yvette grew up in Washington State and recently moved to Colorado with her partner. Between the two of them, they never have a dull moment raising their five sons. There's never a shortage of dad jokes in the house. Yvette enjoys being social and making new friends and also loves cooking for her friends and family and gardening.
Rachelle
Dental Assistant
Rachelle is a dedicated mother and wife who has a deep passion for exploring the natural beauty of Colorado. She is often found hiking and enjoying outdoor adventures accompanied by her dog, Maeve. Along with her love for the outdoors, Rachelle has always been passionate about the dental industry and plans to further her knowledge by pursuing a role as one of our dental assistants.
Lindsey
Dental Assistant
Originally from Georgia, Lindsey made Colorado her home in 2013 and graduated from Colorado Mesa University in 2020. With a passion for helping others, she was drawn to dentistry through the opportunity to build lasting relationships and work hands-on with patients. Lindsey has been a dental assistant for four years and brings both skill and warmth to every patient interaction. Outside the office, you'll likely find her and her husband enjoying time on the water, traveling, or at a concert.
Audyn
Dental Assistant/ Sterile Technician
Audyn grew up in Wisconsin and ventured out to Grand Junction to pursue a collegiate triathlon career and also achieve her degree in Dental Hygiene. She has worked in a dental office previously and loves learning new things in the office every day. When Audyn is out of the office and school, she enjoys crafting and being outdoors!
Amber
Dental Assistant
Amber was born and raised in Grand Junction, Colorado, and is proud to call it home. While she plans to stay rooted in the community, she dreams of traveling and exploring new places in the future. Amber has always had a strong passion for the dental field and is excited to continue growing her career. Amber loves meeting new people and creating a welcoming, upbeat environment for patients. She finds joy in making others feel comfortable and cared for during their visit. Outside of work, Amber enjoys spending time with her two beloved cats and relaxing at home.
Ella
Sterile Technician
Ella is originally from Rangely Colorado but moved to Fruita a few years ago. Ella is a senior at Fruita Monument High School and currently plays on their softball team. Ella also plays softball competitively on Lady Dynamite. After high school, Ella plans to play softball at a collegiate level and study dental hygiene!
Kayla
Executive Assistant
Kayla moved to Colorado in 2015 and considers Grand Junction her forever home. She graduated from Colorado Mesa University with a Business degree and has been in the marketing field for over five years. She is married with one daughter and two sons. In her free time she loves spending time with family, watching her daughter dance, playing outside with her boys, country concerts, and running.
Robin
Scheduling Coordinator and Insurance Specialist
Robin loves welcoming new people to our office! She has worked for over 20 years in management and customer service. To her, it is important that patients feel comfortable and safe in our office. She believes smiles are contagious and loves helping to spread those smiles! Robin is a Colorado native who moved to the Western Slope 16 years ago. She is married with three children and five grandchildren. She loves spending time with her family and cheering on the Denver Broncos!
Kelsi
Patient Care Coordinator
Kelsi loves welcoming new patients to our office with her energetic personality. Kelsi grew up in Wisconsin and moved to Colorado in 2022. She loves helping people and bringing laughter to the office. In her free time, Kelsi loves to play soccer and be on the water
Juliane
Patient Experience Coordinator
Originally from the Philippines and raised in Utah, Juliane made Colorado her home in 2019. Juliane is known for her professionalism, organization, and her passion for making every patient experience smooth.When she's not in the office, you'll find her weightlifting, paddleboarding, or spending time with her adorable labradoodle, Paxson.
Henry
Henry is Doctor Ryan’s sweet pup that visits the office sometimes. He loves our patients as much as they love him.
